Historic Preservation Commission <br />President's Report — August 15 2011 <br />• 07/18/2011 7:OOP: HPC Monthly Meeting (Rm 1308). <br />• 08/01/2011 Complete editorial review and commentary on "Preservation and <br />Maintenance of Wood Windows: How ", by Elicia Feasel (script component to the <br />Grass Roots Media video project presented by Richard Spigelmyer). Met with <br />Elicia to provide an explanation of my suggestions. <br />Follow up with Wayne Doolittle for a summary on the "Windows Preservation <br />Standards Collaborative Summit" (WPSC) sponsored in part by Bob Yapp and <br />held at the Pine Mountain Settlement School,. Kentucky. Wayne shared some new <br />techniques for efficient restoration, described new products /sources for materials <br />and had the opportunity to meet pioneers and celebrities in the windows' <br />preservation trade. <br />• 08/10/2011: Repair shorted power cord for the Sony BM -850 Dictator/Transcriber <br />machine (used to record public meetings). Deliver to the HPC offices. <br />
