5 April Made copies and prepared Commissioner packets for mailing and <br />distribution. Sent Stafl' Reports to homeowners and interested parties. Researched Camp <br />Rberhart Boathouse that was once owned by the City's Parks Department and then <br />donated in 1934 to George Cooper. Learned that CVM Productions is also interested in <br />recording HPC Restore Michiana Work Shops. <br />6-8 April State Preservation Conference in Indianapolis. <br />11 April Participated in the Finance Committee meeting at the Northern Indiana <br />Center for History. Reviewed correspondence and mail from previous week. Reviewed <br />previous CLG Report data. Attended History of the Germans in South Bend. Followed <br />up an c -mail on Aimee Sunny from BSU on the LaSalle Hotel project that she is working <br />on for lie thesis. She is planning to be in South Bend on Thursday and Friday. <br />12 April Chaired 7:30 and Rotary Charitable Fowidation meeting. Worked oil <br />preparing the South Bend CLG report and verifying its data. The meeting concerned the location of the proposed 10' wide path <br />in front of this landmarked home. This has been the subject of on going meetings. At this <br />one it was determined that the original proposal did put the pathway too close to the house. <br />The recommendation was for along the 300 feet of the property oil Adams Road a curb <br />will be installed and the 10' path will be moved south to abut the curbing which will lessen <br />the impact on the historic site. Shrub screening will be installed along the pathway between <br />the path and the house. The lilacs will be relocated and Catherine is to contact I &M to <br />move the pole 2 -3' to the north.
