Met with John <br />Fonash, owner of 611 Portage, and issued RME-COA after Brent's office faxed permits. <br />Met with Keith Hathaway and issued RME-COA for 601 Park for in-kind fence extension. <br />Provided information on Standpipe for Century Center. <br />8 November Spoke with Doreen Mesacar about nominees for a three year term as <br />laision for Edgewater. Attended Finance Committee meeting on 2011 Budget for <br />Northern Indiana Center for History. Provided research on Leeper Park and Navarre <br />Cabin for David Faulkner. <br />9 November Attended a bid meeting at the Conservatories for the $75,000.00 new <br />heating provided by the City in Phase I; sent information to Greg Kil and Heidi Gray on <br />the Notable and Outstanding ratings of the Conservatories in the latest survey for Phase II <br />planning. Completed the COA filing of all COAs from Archives. Completed seven 106 <br />Reviews for grants. <br />10 November Spoke with Becky Rouse concerning the Round Barn on the centennial <br />family farm. She said that she had already spoken with March Davis and Todd Zeiger <br />concerning what could be done but we couldn't finish the conversation because some <br />homeowners came in to the Office and I was the only one in the Office. I did manage to e- <br />mail her our website and the link for the Group B standards. She was unclear as to the <br />difference between NR and LL. I called her back in the afternoon and left a message on <br />her voice mail. Attended the mandatory meeting for employees covering the St. Joseph <br />County's 2011 health care and benefit plans. Posted notices and turned in Elicia's pay <br />increase paperwork to Patty Godsey. Completed two 106 reviews. Contacted Champion <br />Windows and Donna Pangburn about the COA for 5 more replacement windows at 1238 <br />E. Wayne South. Prepared Staff Report in the event that Eric from Champion can attend <br />the November 15 HPC meeting. <br />11 November Veterans Day. Office Closed <br />12 November Returned phone messages: agreed to speak at St. Anthony's the third <br />grade class on the founders of South Bend on November 22; set up meeting with Rowan <br />Andrew's residing at 527 N. Lafayette to provide information on house-the Andrews are <br />currently renting with the option to buy; spoke with Sandy Wilson about replacing the one- <br />year liaison position in Edgewater. Spoke with Lance at Quality window on the Marvin <br />replacement windows for 1231 E. Wayne S. RME-COA for re-roof on local landmark <br />701 W. LaSalle; also noticed that there is no documentation for this landmark on file just a <br />survey card. Asked Larry Meteiver to prepare Wayne's Contract for 2011 limiting his <br />maximum hours to 15 per week because of budget constraints. Researched the minutes of <br />1997, 1998 concerning the adoption of HPC's No Comp Time policy; also requested <br />documentation from Patty Godsey because she told me that that was the policy. <br />Researched the 1897 Court House for John Embrickson and the Standpipe for Randy Ray. <br />
