June 2 Contacted Santos Fernandez to remind him to sign the Waiver. He said <br />that he would be in that day; but did not. Staff follow up visit to 1336 E. Wayne South to <br />photograph completed brick work. Homeowner decided not to extend brick work in the <br />tree lawn. Meeting with Jennifer Greger, Indiana Landmark's Intern, Lisa, Elicia and <br />myself concerning events and set up for Green Week End. <br />June 3 Arrangements completed for Green Weekend and began gathering <br />information. Followed up on Sons of Israel synagogue article after learning that it was not <br />going to be moved but turned into a gift shop. Indiana Landmarks has facade easement <br />and has determined that a plaque on the outside and inside describing its former function <br />would be adequate. Contacted Timothy Wall about proposed repair work by Masonry <br />Contractors, Inc. on the 1897 Court House. <br />June 4 Arranged for Special Meeting with Santos Fernandez and HPC. Notified <br />Commissioners. Worked Jitin Kane for RME at 102 N. Main for Main Street Coffee <br />House awnings to replace the Ugly Mugs awnings all in-kind work. Began Staff Reports for <br />June meeting. Spoke with Russ Luchies at Sla Tile concerning proposed application from <br />Masonry Contractor's, Inc. after looking at the roof of the Court House from the 7`s Floor <br />Commissioners' Office. <br />June 7 COA deadline for 21June meeting; accepted COAs and worked on Staff <br />reports. Determined 10 June for Special Meeting and contacted Santos Fernandez and <br />then Tribune for legal notice. Met with Timothy Wall of Herceg in the Office about the <br />scope of work proposed for the 1897 Court House. Russ Luchies recommended DOW- <br />790, <br />OW790, a silicon based application, for the re -pointing of the drum of the dome. <br />June 8 Staff Reports. Posted notices for Special Meeting. Attended Green Drinks. <br />Presented at the St. Joseph County Council meeting for grant appropriation to budget line <br />items for Elicia and my reimbursement for the April Preservation Conference. <br />June 9 Office continued with preparations for Green Weekend and Staff Reports <br />for Commissioner's packets for timely mailing. Spoke with John Embrickson, St. Joseph <br />County Building Engineer, about proposed repair work on the 1855 Court House. All in- <br />kind repair work that would not require Commission approval. <br />June 10 Commission Special Meeting with Mr. Santos Fernandez. Meeting with <br />Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Miller about the awnings at the Main Street Coffee House; issued an <br />RME for in-kind replacement of awnings. <br />June 11 Assisted with set up for Green Weekend at Century Center. Completed 40 <br />106 Reviews. <br />June 12 Saturday 8:30 am40:30am: Eco Fest at Howard Park with Elicia, Wayne <br />and Paul set up tables for HPC and I.L. and gave information. <br />
