Director's Report <br />April, 2010 <br />16 March Prepared COAs for homeowners and letters. 106 Reviews <br />17 March Prepared letter to County Commissioners for permission to travel to New <br />Harmony. Sue Solmos requested research for April House tour. Called Morgan La Fleur <br />about the debris in the yard after the fire on Williams Street property in the Chapin Park <br />District. The fire is still under investigation and the property has not been released by the <br />Fire Department-no one is allowed inside or on the premises. Met with David Relos at the <br />LaSalle- Hotel. <br />18 March Nicole Brunette 1249 E. Jefferson requested an on site visit to her home for <br />assessment of work that needed to be done. Staff visited and toured interior and exterior; <br />left Contractor Listing. She expressed an interest in Land marking the house. <br />19 March Sent out Land marking information to 1249 E. Jefferson. Met with Greg <br />Kil and the Parks Department at the Potawatomie Conservatories for proposed up grades. <br />24 March Researched information for Gary Riggs, Don Sporleder and Bill Lamie on <br />various addresses and topics. <br />25 March Met with Scott Peacock concerning work that he was proposing to do in an <br />historic district. Chaired a BSSB Members meeting at 5:00 at the Conservatories., <br />26 March Michiana History Group meeting at the La Porte Historical Society, Lunch, <br />lecture and tour. <br />29 March On site interior and exterior tour of the Riverview Cemetery Gate House <br />with Bartow Builders for proposed repairs and restoration work. <br />30 March Meeting with WNIT's Roger Chrastil at Landmarks with Jennifer Greger <br />and Elicia Dadlow: potential programming opportunities and public relations sources. On <br />site visits to COA applicants for April Agenda. <br />1 April Turn in March fees and finish work on Staff Reports <br />2 April Great Friday Office Closed <br />5 April Staff reports and COA deadline. Prepare Commissioner Packets. <br />6 April Commissioner Packets to the mail room, prepare payroll reports for <br />Wayne to deliver on Friday to Commissioners' Office. Reviewed Location Report <br />received after packets mailed. Traveled to New Harmony, Indiana <br />6 -9 April Attended statewide preservation conference in New Harmony, Indiana <br />
