Spoke with Elaine
Meyer Lee concerning COA#2009-0601 for 809 Forest in Chapin Park. The fence
approved was for "treated wooden spaced French Gothic Fence..." the French Gothic
style does not come in treated wood only in cedar. The fence will be installed as
French Gothic in cedar. I met with Mikki Dobski Shidler concerning the lights on
Leeper Park Bridge. As part of a Breast Cancer Awareness Month the City would like
to "change" the lighting to pink during October. Depending upon the financing the
Engineering Department thinks that either the top globe of each light or all of the
globes could be covered with a temporary, removable pink film. She said that she had
already spoken with Todd Zeiger and he didn't have an issue with the proposal and he
told her to contact HPC. The proposed pink lighting would be temporary and if the
bottom globes were also to be covered the accumulated bugs were requested to be
emptied from the globes.
August 27 Physical inspection of HPC archived boxes at St. Joseph County
Archives for appropriate disposal of contents per Retention regulations.
August 31 * Prepared balance of August fees for Auditor's and Treasurer's Office.
On site COA visit on Forest.
September 1 On site COA visit to 1515 E.
