B. LANDMARKS <br />Legal counsel advised Commission that land mark reports should go to Common Council with a <br />favorable/unfavorable recommendation which will then be returned by Council for 2nd and 3rd <br />readings, i.e., public hearings before final action. <br />305 S. Eddy/1032 E Wayne Street — First Reading <br />Landmark procedure instigated by home owner. <br />Motion to forward to Common Council with a favorable recommendation: <br />Made: Todd Zeiger Second: Mary Jane Chase Vote 6-1 <br />Linda Riley in opposition. <br />113 Laurel — First Reading <br />Landmark procedure instigated by home owner. <br />Motion to forward to Common Council with a favorable recommendation: <br />Made: Todd Zeiger Second: Linda Riley Vote 7-0 (Unanimous) <br />III. HEARING OF VISITORS <br />Mary Ellen O'Connell was recognized to address the Commission. She discussed her <br />concern about a planned project in the proposed "West North Shore Triangle" historic <br />district. (That proposed district abuts the existing West North Shore historic district.) <br />Ms. O'Connell is the HPC liaison from the West North Shore district and is also on the <br />neighborhood association for the larger, proposed district. <br />After Commission discussion of the planned project at Hillcrest and Angela, it was <br />decided that a letter conveying HPC concern about the ramifications to this neighborhood <br />will be drafted by Legal Counsel and signed by President Klusczinski. <br />Motion to draft a letter of concern regarding this matter: <br />Made: Todd Zeiger Second: Jerry Niezgodski Vote: 7-0 (Unanimous) <br />IV.
