Assistant Director's Report <br />HPC Meeting —05/18/09 <br />➢ Submitted HPEG application to Indiana Humanities Council. <br />➢ Proof read The Chicora Foundation preservation plan for City Cemetery. <br />➢ Took receipt of finalized plan and forwarded billing information to the <br />Parks Department. <br />➢ Continued writing City Cemetery NR nomination. <br />➢ Collaborated with Paul H on W Washington House Tour information. <br />➢ Met with President Klusczinski and ND student Mary Jesse regarding HPC <br />letterhead and logos. <br />➢ Met with Michiana Bike Coalition to detail TE Grants and other funding <br />opportunities for Wheels of Change project. <br />➢ Completed and mailed final snail mail newsletter. <br />➢ Created fliers for Hands On Homeowner series. <br />➢ Began work on landmark assessment project. Wayne is photographing <br />landmarks, and we're compiling a power point in cooperation with <br />Commissioner Zeiger. <br />➢ Conducted a site visit to 107 W North Shore. <br />➢ Researched Cutter light information by email request. Ultimately put <br />inquirer in touch with our contact in Philadelphia regarding provenance of <br />light and other information. <br />➢ Attended auction at Queen Anne Inn. <br />➢ Met with Jerry Aufrance of St. Paul's Memorial Methodist Church regarding <br />fundraising and conservation efforts at the church. Detailed grant and <br />program information. <br />➢ Attended CVB tour of St. Paul's and met their new pastor. <br />➢ Conferred with Code Enforcement about the roof deterioration at The <br />People's Church., met the new foreman representing the church and <br />discussed C of A requirements and deadlines. <br />
