NEW BUSINESS (CONT.) <br />i. continued... <br />qualifications for a ten (10) year real <br />property tax abatement. <br />With the project cost estimated at over <br />$4.4 million; and the cost of the new <br />building estimated at $4.2 million, taxes <br />generated over ten years total <br />approximately $2,012,506. Taxes abated <br />over ten years total approximately <br />$996,190. Taxes still paid with the <br />abatement total approximately $1,016,315. <br />Dennis Bamber stated that their building is <br />currently located on State Line Road. <br />Their building is approximately 40,000 s.f. <br />and they have also rented a trailer to <br />operate their business out of. They have <br />nine phone operators located in the trailer. <br />They have purchased the machine shop <br />located next door to the trailer and have an <br />additional nine phone operators there. He <br />stated that they store some of their <br />products in their old location. They also <br />rent an 8,000 s.f. warehouse located down <br />the street from the trailer on State Line <br />Road. They also use Day's Moving and <br />Storage, located in Elkhart, Indiana, to <br />store some of their products. <br />Dennis Bamber stated that his company's <br />goal is to consolidate their operation under <br />one roof. He felt that the location of his <br />business on the Toll Road will highlight <br />and create better business for his company. <br />He stated that they have customers from <br />all over the world.
