Inappropriate new window and door features such as metal, vinyl or fiberglass awnings, hoods or <br />aluminum insulating glass combinations that require removal of original windows and doors shall not be <br />installed. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of items 2,3 & 5. Item 1, staff recommends that the original windows <br />be retained as they appear to be in good condition and that new storms and screens be approved. Staff <br />recommends approval of item 5 with the condition that if any architectural features, decorative siding and <br />trim, etc., are uncovered with the removal of the aluminum siding that they be left exposed or replicated <br />with the LP Smartside products. <br />
