homeowners. in putting siding on their houses. The city program also offers assistance
replacing the front window, which would be another great reat improvement to the house.
If the Historical Society does not agree to enabling property owners of historical
landmarks to participate in the city's assistance program, can it directly offer me any
assistance? If not, can it reconsider its decision to exclude homeowners such as myself
from participating in this program? I simply cannot afford to put this investment in the
house. Would anybody agree that leaving the house in the current condition, in need
of a paint job, is in the best interest of preserving the neighborhood and the home? I
would ask the Historical Society to reconsider their decision or to propose some
alternatives for helping me to cope With a house that is costing me money- every year
but which I cannot sell.
I thank you in advance for your guidance in this matter. Please do share any
information and thoughts with Sharon Czarnecki who has been my trusted
representative in helping me care for this house..'
Kind regards,
Naomi Cassirer
24 Grand Rue
1296 Coppet Switzerland
