MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE <br />HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />OF SOUTH BEND & SAINT JOSEPH COUNTY <br />January 28, 2008 <br />13th floor conference room <br />County -City Building, South Bend, Indiana <br />Members Present: David Sassano, Todd Zeiger, Timothy Klusczinski, Lynn Patrick, <br />Linda Riley, Mary Jane Chase <br />Members Absent: Jerry Ujdak <br />Staff Present: Catherine Hostetler, Amy Herdman, Larry Metiever (New Attorney), <br />Aladean DeRose (Interim Attorney) <br />Also Present: Don Sporleder, R.E. Rodes, Georges Enderle, Joann Sporleder, Alison <br />Credi, Michael Dregits, Mikki Dobski <br />CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL: President Tim Klusczinski called to order at 7:02 <br />Klusczinski: I ask for a vote to suspend the agenda for consideration of Commissioner <br />Recognition; may I have a motion, please. <br />In a motion by Mary Jane Chase and a second Linda Riley, it passed unanimously. <br />Klusczinski: I'll sponsor the following resolution: <br />Resolution OF THE <br />HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />OF <br />SOUTH BEND AND SAINT TOSEPH COUNTY, <br />INDIANA <br />At the January 28, 20o8 Meeting of the Historic Preservation <br />Commission of South Bend and Saint Joseph County: <br />Whereas: Joann Sporleder has served this Commission, and has <br />generously donated services which were highly useful to citizens of <br />Saint Joseph County, and the City of South Bend; <br />Whereas: She has effectively, tirelessly, and responsibly served for <br />thirty-five years as Architectural Historian of the Commission, and as <br />member of the Landmarks, Southhold Awards, Fagade Easements and <br />Standards and Maintenance Committees.
