President's Report — Tim Klusczinski
• 7/28 — C of A Staff Report with Catherine Hostetler and Todd Zeiger. General Discussion over application topics,
• public interaction and documentation. The following changes and improvements were suggested:
1. Staff should meet, on site if possible, to discuss the proposed project with the applicant and work out
any questions and/or misunderstood items. The staff/applicant meeting is also an opportunity for staff
to help guide an applicant towards compliance with guidelines or inform the applicant of possible red
flags with the application. This is also an opportunity, through discussion, for an applicant to disclose
additional details that otherwise were not included in the application.
a. Applications lacking sufficient project detail (design, materials, layout, etc...), are incomplete
and will no longer be placed on the docket. Staff will continue to identify and manage
any requirements with the petitioner.
2. "Rating" will reflect the most recent survey — no need to include the previous rating.
3. "Description of Structure /Site" Staff will do its best describe changes to the house since its
construction. This is helpful for commission members and the public to place the proposed changes
in context with the existing structure.
a.
10
