Sassano: Yeah, and I mean, do we have the same requirements? Are the requirements
different if it's non - contributing.
Hostetler: Typically there's been a little more latitude...
Klusczinski: But as far as the Guidebook is concerned I don't think that it's detailed
there at all.
Sassano: It's interpretive?
Klusczinski: Right. Any other thoughts? Very good. Chair opens public hearing. Any
member of the public wishing to speak in support of the current petition? Hearing none,
any member of the public wishing to speak in opposition to the current petition? Also
hearing none, Chair closes public hearing. Any additional thoughts, Commission?
Zeiger: I'm just curious to know other's opinions on the mutton style and if we're
thinking approval or not and if we're jettisoning the windows, or the materials that the
windows are made out of as we're also then jettisoning the fact that its divided light, so
I'm just curious... the examples that were given of what was approved in the rest of the
district have M oR n s applied on the interior or exterior so it reads more like a true
divided light. I'm just curious...
Hostetler: These are the C of A's Todd...
Zeiger: I'm just looking at your pictures, that's what we have.
Sassano: In my opinion Todd, it's a bit of a mixed metaphor, a bit of a 1950's Brady
bunch kind of house and the traditional steel window is not really that integral to the
design element, and so I don't think that the overall image of the house is going to suffer.
Zeiger: Yes, that's why I was asking. I tend to concur, I just wanted to see what everyone
else's thoughts were.
Riley: You're not going to notice any difference, they'll look better...
Zeiger: Some of us will.
Sassano: Yes, but I don't think that difference is going to detract from the character of
this particular house.
Zeiger: Alright, thanks
Klusczinski: Very well, is there a motion?
Riley: I make a motion we approve C ofA 2008 -0804.
Klusczinski: As presented?
Riley: As presented.
Klusczinski: Thank you, motion has been made is there a second?
Chase: Second.
Klusczinski: Motion has been made and seconded, all those in favor to approve C of A
2008 -0804 signify by saying aye (ayes are heard). Opposed? (Silence). Motion carries,
C of A 2008 -0804 is approved.
