The Shetterly house was built in 1908 as a rental property by J.L.M. Shetterly and Fred W. <br />354 Keller. It was sold to Lucille and Robert P. Land in 1922. Mr. Lang was the City Attorney for <br />355 Mishawaka. The house became and rental property in the late 1920s until 1947 when it was sold to Mr. <br />356 and Mrs. George Hoffman. The current owner is Mark Beudert. <br />357 APPLICATION ITEMS: Removal of one dead tree. There are a few story- and -a -half residences. The prevalent facade proportions are <br />368 between a 1:1 and a 1:2 height -to -width ratio. <br />369 Required <br />370 The height of a new structure and its height -to -width proportions shall be consistent with adjacent <br />371 buildings in the district. The building height shall be no greater than that of the tallest existing <br />372 structure and no less than that of the lowest existing structure of the same type in the same block. <br />373 Facade proportions shall be established by permitting no structure with a facade wider or narrower than <br />JJ4 those existing in the same block.
