It was constructed by the Studebaker family to house Studebaker Corporation executives. It was <br />3 sold in 1919 to Howard A. Woolverton who eventually became Chairman of the Board for St. Joseph <br />4 Bank and Trust. He lived there until his death in 1960. Mrs. Woolverton passed away in 1944.
