Discussion followed on the most appropriate committee or responsible party to complete <br />this request. Standards and Maintenance committee, Landmarks committee, and Staff were all <br />considered to be charged with preparation of this information for the benefit of Dr. Enderle. - <br />Commissioner Riley reiterated her desire for the Commission to find ways to compromise on matters <br />of repairs and improvements to better. work with and build rapport with those that live in districts and <br />landmarks. It was determined that Staff would be responsible for the task of preparing the letter or <br />statement for Dr. Enderle. <br />Commissioner Sporleder gave details on the Urban Forestry meeting held recently in Brown County. <br />She mentioned a purveyor of trees, shrubs and other plants that grow on demand for Commissions, <br />Parks and other agencies that may be restoring historic landscapes. (Provided later by telephone): the <br />purveyor that Commissioner Sporleder spoke of is available at «Ivw.nossibilitvnlace.com at by <br />telephone at 708-534-3988. This organization also provides educational programs and is working <br />diligently on the ash borer situation in our region. <br />V. HEARING OF VISITORS <br />Don Sporleder: Also relayed details of the Urban Forestry event in Brown County and also the <br />Indiana/Kentucky AIA meeting which featured historic preservation as a key element of the meeting. <br />The University Club has closed as scheduled and the stein collection moved in order to be auctioned. <br />The building is scheduled for demolition in early December.
