There's currently a Sav -A -Lot in <br />Mishawaka that is owned by the Rhodes <br />family. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, seconded by <br />Ms. Auburn and carried, the Commission <br />adopted Resolution No. 1508 approving an <br />application for real property tax deduction for <br />property located at the northeast corner of <br />Chapin Street and Western Avenue in the <br />West Washington- ChapinDevelopmentArea. <br />(South Bend Heritage Foundation and Baugo <br />Creek Realty) Ms. Schwartz abstained <br />b. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1509 approving an <br />application for real property tax deduction <br />for property located at the southeast corner <br />of Corby Boulevard and Niles Avenue in <br />the South Bend Central Development Area. <br />(C.D.T., L.L.C.) <br />Mike Beitzinger gave the staff report. <br />C.D.T., L.L.C. is in the business of <br />developing and selling town homes. Their <br />project calls for the construction of 3 <br />buildings of 5 town homes each for a total of <br />15 townhouses on the southeast corner of <br />Corby Boulevard and Niles Avenue. Each <br />unit will be approximately 1,800 square feet <br />and will include an attached 2 car garage, 2 or <br />3 bedrooms, 2 and a half baths, and a <br />fireplace.
