NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />a. continued.... <br />Realty, a business experienced in <br />successfully running a number of Park -N- <br />Shop stores in the area. The Chapin Clinic <br />will move from its current location across <br />the street to a new and expanded facility so <br />they may continue to offer ongoing <br />medical care to their low income clients. <br />The total estimated dollar value of the <br />project is $1,245,000. <br />Per the petition, this project will create <br />thirty (3 0) new jobs, representing a new <br />annual payroll of $260,000 and will <br />maintain five (5) existing permanent full - <br />time jobs and five (5) existing permanent <br />part-time jobs representing an annual <br />payroll of $310,000. <br />A review of the tax abatement finds that <br />Baugo Creek Realty has not been granted <br />any previous tax abatement consideration, <br />however, South Bend Heritage Foundation <br />has been associated with several previous <br />tax abatements. The first was a ten year <br />real property tax abatement granted for the <br />West Washington Homes project. The <br />second was also a ten year real property <br />tax abatement granted for the Robertson's <br />Building Renovation project.
