South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - May 16, 1997 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />j. continued.... <br />Ms. Kolata noted that this proposal is for the <br />appraisal of a lot located at the southeast <br />corner of Lafayette Boulevard and Monroe <br />Street. This is an L- shaped lot north of the <br />Studebaker Museum. It's one that is <br />necessary for the Studebaker Museum's new <br />building. R.E. Pitts and Associates proposes <br />to do the appraisal for a fee of $2,000. The <br />staff recommends accepting the proposal. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Schwartz, seconded <br />by Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission approved the proposal from <br />R.E.Pitts and Associates for appraisal <br />services in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. <br />7. PROGRESS REPORTS <br />Mr. Hunt stated that he received the figures for <br />Blackthorn Golf Course for the month of April <br />1997. He noted that the figures were truly <br />remarkable considering there was snow in the <br />first two weeks of April 1997 and that they <br />made their budgeted numbers. <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL FROM <br />R.E.PITTS AND ASSOCIATES FOR APPRAISAL <br />SERVICES IN THE SOUTH BEND CENTRAL <br />DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />Ms. Kolata noted that the proposed project from PROGRESS REPORTS <br />South Heritage Foundation and the proposed <br />project from C.D.T., L.L.C. approved by the <br />Commission today are both positive projects for <br />the City of South Bend. <br />8.
