NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />i. continued.... <br />Ms. Kolata noted that the legal description <br />and railroad right -of -way was worked out in <br />terms of buying property in this block. <br />When the design process began for the curb <br />and sidewalk improvements, the Lafayette <br />Street side had some problems. There were <br />no curbs and it didn't quiet line up with the <br />block north of Broadway. In order to put in <br />the curb, they had to reengineer the street in <br />terms of the drainage and the location for <br />the curb. <br />Ms. Kolata noted that the Troyer Group <br />stated that because of the revised cost <br />estimate, which is now a little over <br />$200,000, they would like to increase their <br />maximum fee from $10,350 to $14,587. <br />Ms. Kolata noted that this is still the same <br />7.2% percentage of construction cost. She <br />noted that this was reviewed with Carl <br />Littrell and he felt that this is a reasonable <br />cost. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Auburn, seconded by <br />Ms. Schwartz and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Amendment No. IV <br />from the Troyer Group for engineering <br />design services for property located in the <br />Sample Ewing Development Area. <br />j. Commission approval requested for <br />proposal from R.E.
