JS: I know you can't, but it's all covered with green vines.
EA: I don't know which one you have, but there is a garage that's all covered in vines. In the
summer time everyone asks me what it is because you can't tell what it is underneath there, but in
the wintertime you can see that it's a brick garage. Some of the pictures are from behind our
garage, where the neighbors throw all the trash. The other just has a lot of weeds, and bricks
and other things all thrown back there.
JS: So, as in this picture, your fence will fix it so that you don't look at all this?
EA: Right, it will just do that, and then we'll landscape in front of it
JS: on your side. .
EA: Just for ourselves, right.
JS: Is there an alley back there?
EA: No.
JS: Where is the neighbor's debris going?
EA: One neighbor has bushes, and it's going behind the bushes which is the back of my garage,
and stacked up the back of my garage, and the other, well, it's in their yard, but it's the back of
their garage which is open to my yard.
JS: So the fence actually is a boundary line fence?
EA: Yes, it will cross the boundary, and then we'll landscape in front of it. Right along the
property line.
LP: Any other commissioner questions?
JU: How tall is it going to be?
EA: Six feet, the standard height. Six is what they told me. Standard size.
LP: The chair will now open this to public hearing. If there is any member of the public who
wishes to speak on the matter? Seeing none, I move on.
LP: Is there any additional...? Checking with legal counsel, no input there. I'd like now to
entertain a motion on whether or not to approve the C of A.
JS: I move to approve the Certificate of Appropriateness # 2006-0908, 1216 E Wayne Street
North as presented.
JU: Second
LP: All in favor? (Ayes heard) Opposed? (Silence) With no opposition the motion carries.
Moved: JS Second: JU Vote: 7-0 Unanimous
EA: Thank you very much.
LP: Thank you.
