There were no public comments. <br />Todd Zeiger moves to approve CoA 2006-0615A The Burke Building, and the motion is seconded by <br />Tim Klusczinski. The motion passes unanimously. <br />B. LANDMARKS <br />1. 1013 East Jefferson <br />Catherine Hostetler reported to the Commission that the new homeowner, Serena Howley, closed <br />on the property today, June 19, 2006. HPC Staff toured the home today with Ms. Howley. The <br />Commission will be pursuing Landmark status for this property with the consent of the new <br />homeowner. <br />C. NATIONAL REGISTER NOMINATION (None at this time.) <br />HI. REGULAR BUSINESS <br />A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Tim Klusczinski moved to approve the Minutes of May 15, 2006 as printed, Martha Choitz <br />seconds. The Minutes were approved by unanimous vote. <br />B. TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Tim Klusczinski [Treasurer] included the Budget Location Report in the meeting packet. <br />Commissioner Riley questioned two items on the report. Catherine Hostetler clarified that the <br />two items Ms. Riley was referring to were two grant funds that the Commission is overseeing. <br />C. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />1. President's Report <br />Lynn Patrick [President] requested that her report be held until the next meeting, July 17, 2006. <br />2. Landmarks Committee Chair: Gate House Update <br />The Minutes note (by request of Todd Zeiger) that Todd Zeiger is wearing two hats. <br />Todd Zeiger shared semi -confidential information with the Commission regarding the on-going <br />negotiations and conversations with Alderwoods regarding the roof, soffit, and gutter repairs and <br />overall restoration as well as the future use of the building at the entrance to Riverview <br />Cemetery. Greg Kil will be providing a preliminary rehabilitation report gratis. Shawn Peterson <br />[Counsel] expounded on the extension of the COA as a means to allow further review of options <br />- for future use of the structure. Todd Zeiger is encouraged by the progress and the commitment <br />Alderwoods is now exhibiting towards the project. <br />D. STAFF REPORTS <br />1. Director's Report — Catherine Hostetler <br />Catherine distributed her report and reviewed information about the upcoming Public Meetings <br />regarding City Plan. Additional flyers listing the meeting times and locations were distributed to <br />Commissioners. Catherine also introduced and welcomed new Assistant Director, Amy Herdman. <br />2. Assistant Director's Report — Amy Herdman <br />Assistant Director Herdman distributed her report to Commissioners. <br />3. Legal Report — Shawn Peterson <br />
