Builders' Blitz 2006
Habitat International and the National Home
Builders Association have joined forces in
a collaboration expected to build over 500
completed houses in a single week. Over 1,000
builders will partner with local Habitat affiliates
to construct homes in their communities.
In our local community, Habitat for Humanity
of St. Joseph County and the Home Builders
Association of St. Joseph Valley have teamed up
to build two houses starting Saturday, June 3rd.
Professional builders lead the construction of
each house. Mike Everett of Rosemark Homes
of South Bend, together with Craig and Shaina
Taelman of Signature Homes, will be responsible
for one home. Leading the other house will be
veteran builder,Art Moser, together with Dale
and Adam Devon of Devon Custom Homes, Inc.
Both builder teams need assistance (what kind
of assistance ?) from their
sub contractors, from their materials suppliers
and from fellow HBA members. Associate
members include bankers, mortgage brokers,
realtors, and others who serve the building
industry. (Associate members of HBA or the build
or what ?)
Call Habitat today for additional information at
574 - 288 -6967
Catherine Hostetler
Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend
County -City Building
South Bend IN 46601
Wanted: AmeriCorpsVolunteers
Do you have a desire to eliminate poverty housing?
