I will have the
invitations ordered by the end of this week as soon as I get a confirmation from the
speaker. SBCSC 3/10 Cancellation
CATHERINE HOSTETLER: South Bend Community Corporation cancelled our get
together at Tippecanoe Place. We still plan to have a get together sometime before the
end of the school year with them.
2. LaSalle Hotel
CATHERINE HOSTETLER: We met with the people from Community Development,
(Bob Mathia and Jennifer Hughes), and did a walk through tour of the former LaSalle
Hotel. We are working on meeting with the people who are interested in redeveloping
the LaSalle Hotel. So this is a work in progress. John Oxian informed Catherine
Hostetler that he would like to be kept up to date on what is going on with the LaSalle
Hotel. They do have some
drawings and some mock-ups of what they would like to have done. We have seen them
and they look very nice. So, there will be a meeting on this. You had some dates
emailed to you and I am going to need to have a response from commission members
either at the end of this meeting or by tomorrow; so I can coordinate this with the people
at the Morris Civic Auditorium.
C.
