as I indicated, the Multiple Property Documentation may be submitted before the
nominations are completed, but this probably will not be necessary.
My fee includes everything involved in performing the work outlined (research,
fieldwork, writing), as well as travel, local mileage, photo expenses, USGS maps (I
will expect some help in procuring local site maps) and related expenses. It also
covers any additional material (within reason!) required by DHPA and include my
attendance at the State Review Board hearing. I will expect some help from the
commission office in procuring local maps if needed for some of the submissions
and help with determining such information as acreage, legal addresses, and so
forth as may be needed for some of the submissions.
The total is somewhat dependent on unknown factors, namely, how many
nominations will result. I am looking at a range of roughly $6500-$7500.
I would expect a partial payment, say 20%, upon taking on the project, and
payments at intervals to be agreed upon, with final payment upon completion (or
before, if it is required for your budget --I will still be under contract to complete the
work.)
Thank you.
