In cold weather keep re -pointed areas from freezing. -Do not repoint <br />areas with surface temperatures of 40° or less. Protect from wind <br />chill and retain heat of hydration. <br />POWER WASH <br />A. Power wash entire masonry surfaces with appropriate chemicals suited <br />for the material (brick, limestone, or concrete). Follow <br />manufacturer's instructions, protect adjacent surfaces where <br />recommended. Protect ground plants and shrubbery. <br />Restore all damaged, chipped, or spalled limestone and precast concrete <br />according to the manufacturer published data. On larger areas of <br />deterioration provide dowels or anchor inserts to secure the resurfacing <br />compounds. <br />Retuckpoint base of limestone plinth and foundation. Provide flexible <br />sealant at all joints separating dissimilar materials such as brick and <br />limestone, brick, and concrete, etc. Use backer rods where necessary. <br />0 <br />Seal entire building per the instruction of the chemical manufacturer. <br />
