Joann Sporleder abstains. 7. 2004-0610; Leeper Park; limb -up trees for Art Fair KAREN HAMMOND-NASH: Regarding the application from the City Forester, some commission members may recall this as an almost annual problem; the city forester is bugged by various artist groups who want him to limb -up the trees in Leeper Park so that they can put their tents and booths in straight lines. JOHN OXIAN: We did turn down a similar application last. LYNN PATRICK: I will make a motion to deny the application and I make a suggestion that the Art Fair arrange their booths similar to last year's arrangement.
