<br />General Membership Meeting
<br />for the meeting of March 29, 2003
<br />Terry Allen opened the meeting at 1:00 P.M. at the Wentzville,
<br />Missouri Winter Get Together.
<br />The minutes from the general membership meeting held August 24,
<br />2002 Summer Show at Cedar Falls, Iowa were read by Jerry Ellis.
<br />The minutes were approved as read.
<br />Treasurers Report was given by Al Duroe, as of 14arch 26, 2003
<br />Checking - $10,329.52, Savings - $12,769.39, Wells Fargo
<br />Membership Account :5,129.27, 2 year CD - $26,098.57,, 30 month CD
<br />$16,232.69.
<br />David Lawernce, a Massey Harris collector, gave a report on
<br />The Ageless Iron Proclamation of Records is wanting to promdte
<br />the interest in the Historical Activities of Agriculture, the
<br />numerous organizations collecting and restoring of antique
<br />equipment and the enthusiasm, fellowship,and goodwill within
<br />those who choose to participate in it. A friendly and respectfully
<br />atmosphere of competition will prevail to record history and
<br />^nlighten prosperity of how the nation was fed, then and now.
<br />Membership: Terry Alien gave a report about the membership
<br />numbers and new membership cards. About 1100 did not receive the
<br />magazine due to the last quarter renewals not being processed
<br />eight It has been corrected at this time.
<br />Promotion and Publicity: Landis said the new belt buckles will
<br />be in by June. Please get your order in for them.
<br />The I.H. Collectors did a book with pictures of their tractors
<br />and implements at the Penfield Show last year.
<br />The pictures of the Oliver tractors and implements will be
<br />taken at the 2003 Penfield Summer Show. The book would
<br />cost between $20.00 - $25.00.
<br />A toy model 1 /16th scale of the Old #3 tractor is to ba at
<br />t.11E Penfield Summer Show, they wil? be Enl,inq orders then. The
<br />money earned from the sale of the toy tractor will go to pay for
<br />the restoration of the #F3 tractor. It will cost about $100.00 and
<br />delivery date will be about Sept. 12, 2003.
<br />Promotion and Publicity: tarry Gay reported on the Louisville
<br />farm Show 36 new members and sold about $5,000.00 north oL
<br />merchandise, total.
