A meeting of the H.P.O.C.A. Board of Directors was called to <br />order by Terry Allen at 7:00 p.m. There was 30 members present. <br />Bill Gamble provided the invocation. <br />2. Minutes from the December 14, 2002 Board Meeting were read by <br />the Secretary and approved. <br />3• Treasurer's Report was presented by Al Duroe as of Maeclh 26, 2003 <br />2 year /CD $28,088.57 <br />30 month /CD $15,810.50 <br />HPOCA checking $10,329.52 <br />.. HPOCA savings $12,769.38 <br />Wells Fargo Membership -$ 5,219.27 <br />Troasure's Report, was approved. <br />4. Debbie King reported on insurance and answered questions about <br />insurance coverage for two shows and Board 'Meeting's. <br />Jim Muhs made a motion to have $2,000,000.00 and Medical payments <br />Of $100,00.00 coverage seconded by Larry Gay. Passed <br />5. Membership-- Bill. Meeker reported problems with the membership <br />numbers from the last quarter of 2002. <br />6. Promotion and Publicity-- Landis Zimmerman showed a book about <br />tho I.H. Show tractors and implements. The book sold for $22.00 to <br />$25.00. Buy 2000 books for $12.20 a book. <br />2003 Pelt Buckle wkh Oliver 880 show tractor will be in about <br />the middle of June. <br />Thr. #3 toy model tractor, could be ordered in 1000 units for about <br />$67.00 each'and be sold for $100.00. The income from these could <br />he used to pay for the renovation of #3 tractor. A prototype of <br />the #3 toy Is to be at the Summer Show in Penfield, III. <br />Al Duroe made a motion to buy 1000 units, and if the cost of the <br />se]71al number on the toy is too much the serial number will be <br />dropped with the Hoard's approvial. 2nd by Larry Gay motion <br />pa,v ed. <br />Jim Mutes made a motion to buy 2000 of the books, 2nd by Bill Meeker <br />motion passed. Hook to have picture's of the exhibited tractors <br />at the Penfield, Ill. Show <br />1lctivites -- Larry Gay reported on tbr- Louisville Farm Show. <br />Sold about $5000.00 worth of merchandise and new memberships. <br />a. Summer Show 2003 Penfield, I1. July 10- 13,2003 <br />b. Ohio Farm Science Review Sept. 16- 18,2003 <br />c. Farm Progress Show Sept. 23 -25 Henning, 11. <br />d, Winter Get- to- gether Feb. 26 -28, 2004 Lancaster, Pa. <br />with the tractor show to be in the parking lot. <br />Thursday auction of farming equipment <br />Friday auction of tractors <br />c. 2004 Summer Show 27 -29 Aug., Madison, S.D. <br />f. 2005 winter Get- Together Moline, I1. by Midwest Oliver Collectors <br />9. 2005 Summer Show Baraboo, Wis. Aug. 19 -20 -21 discussed, <br />Al Duroe made a motion to go to Baraboo, Wis. Show in 2005, <br />2nd by Larry Gay motion passed. <br />h. 2006 Winter Get- Together in Flordia by the Oliver Cang and <br />Olde Southern Oliver Collectors. <br />1. 2006 Sumner Show Dover, Ohio,a 3 Company Show Oliver, <br />Minneapolis - Moline, and Cockshutt. <br />
