NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />a. continued.... <br />the purchase price to $70,000 with no tax <br />abatement and subject to the developer <br />bearing all costs related to any site work <br />and environmental work, would either of <br />them be willing to move forward with <br />their projects. <br />Mr. Gould noted that he would not come <br />back to the Commission expecting <br />additional funds and that his interest <br />regarding the environmental survey is <br />standard. He asked if the seller would <br />indemnify the buyer that there are no <br />problems with the site. He noted that he <br />hasn't had the opportunity to review the <br />environmental survey. <br />Ms. Kolata noted that in the <br />Commission's past history, they didn't <br />indemnify but did provide environmental <br />information to the purchaser of a <br />property. She noted that the staff has <br />some environmental information but Mr. <br />Gould and Mr. Harrison haven't had the <br />opportunity to review it. <br />She noted that there is approximately <br />1,700 linear feet of asbestos on some <br />pipes, 2,000 sf of panel board that has <br />asbestos in it and there are some non - <br />friable materials that don't have any <br />special disposition requirements.
