1 2 LARRY DELARUELLE: I live at 55 Edgewater Drive. I would like to commend Mr. Burke for 3 the work he has done on that house. He has brought that house back a long way from the 4 condition that it was in. I would also like to commend the commission staff on the research 5 work that they have done; obviously, a lot of effort went into doing that. 6 My only remark is that I agree with what Mr. Burke is trying to do; but, I think the only 7 condition that should be set from my perspective is that whatever he does to the inside of the 8 building should not rise above the shell of that building. 9 10 LYNN PATRICK: I would like to make a motion to extend his certificate of appropriateness for 11 three months, and then a ruling be made after receipt and review of architectural renderings 12 . regarding the exterior of the house. 13 14 MARTHA CHOITZ: Seconds the motion 15 16 JOHN LIVINGSTON: I would like you to amend your motion to include that Mr. Burke is 17 giving his consent to do this. 18 19 LYNN PATRICK: I would like to revise my motion to extend his C of A for a period of three to 20 six months with the understanding that there might be a change barring illness, weather, or other 21 unforeseen circumstances, and that a ruling be made after receipt and review of the architectural 22 drawings. 23 24 John Oxian then asked Virginia O'Hair and Mr. Burke if they both agreed with the revised 25 motion that Lynn Patrick made. She also stated that there were at least two matters regarding which the commission 35 would probably want more information. 36 37 The owner, Mr. MacDonald, was not present. 38 39 JOHN OXIAN: Which ones are you suggesting? 40 41 KAREN HAMMOND-NASH: Mr. MacDonald has applied for eight different items, (see staff 42 report attached to C of A, under application items). Staff recommended approving the following 43 application items: Part of item number 2, and items number 3 through 7. However, staff would 44 recommend that those be approved subject to the clear condition that repair is to be done when 45 possible and that any replacement is to be in-kind. 46 K,
