CALL TO ORDER: JOHN OXIAN: Called the meeting to order at 7:40. <br />II. PUBLIC HEARING <br />A. CERTIFICATES. OF APPROPRIATENESS, <br />1. 2003; Jefferson School, 528 South Eddy Street; window sash <br />replacement in original building & new windows in new addition. <br />(Report of Jefferson School Advisory Committee meeting Oct. 21) <br />Briefly tabled to allow for the arrival of Jerry Ujdak, an Ad Hoc Committee member. See p. 4-5. <br />2. 2003-0919-2; 721 Lincoln Way East; installation of out -door <br />hot tub & modifications to walled courtyard area. <br />KAREN HAMMOND-NASH: Read staff report into the record. I See attached. <br />Mr. Burke supplied an amended drawing of his plan, hand drawn by himself onto a photocopied <br />photograph. <br />LYNN PATRICK: Noted that the HPC & the Standards and Maintenance Committee had sent a <br />letter stating that we needed to see the architectural drawings before we could entertain a C of A. <br />Brief discussion was held among HPC members as to whether Mr. Burke's drawing resolved <br />enough of their questions to meet the requirements of "architectural drawing." HPC members <br />remained perplexed and concerned. <br />1 <br />
