1. On the second floor of that building used to be a sixteen room hotel. They are <br />looking to turn it into six apartments with approximately one thousand square feet each. <br />2. A parking variance. <br />Some years ago the owner petitioned to turn it into sixteen single room apartments, which the <br />zoning board of course turned down. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS <br />1. Develop official HPC position and comments regarding US 31 road <br />improvement impacts; authorize publication and submission of <br />comments. <br />JOHN OXIAN: Going back to the issue of US 31. If there are no objections then I would like <br />someone to make a recommendation that we send the information that I mentioned earlier in the <br />meeting, to the State Department of Transportation by the end of the week. <br />CATHERINE HOSTETLER: Moves for adoption of a Resolution stating the position of the <br />HPC with regard to each of the proposed US31 routes, adoption the position stated in Martha <br />Choitz' letter to the HPC, included in the meeting packets. <br />GERRY UJDAK: Seconds the motion and the motion passes unanimously. <br />il /_\Ito00MI <br />(None to report) <br />VII.
