NANCY ICKLER: Wayne, did you look at that fence? Do you think it is about three -
and -a -half feet?
WAYNE DOOLITTLE: I honestly didn't look at that.
JOANN SPORLEDER: It's one of the old ones. All four people wanted it closed up. It
is maybe waist high.
WAYNE DOOLITTLE: It's well hidden inside though. I actually looked and I didn't
see it.
JOANN SPORLEDER: I tried to take a picture of it and you could hardly see it.
WAYNE DOOLITTLE: I didn't see it while I was looking for it. It wasn't obvious.
JOANN SPORLEDER: Is it big squares?
NANCY ICKLER: No, I think it is intended to be decorative; it kind of goes like this
and it's you know wound around itself.
JOANN SPORLEDER: The wire is twisted and they were common everywhere and
everybody had them.
John Oxian: That type of wire fence is very weak.
NANCY ICKLER: In our woods there is a vacated alley and it kind of goes every which
way.
JOANN SPORLEDER: It sounds like to me the fence is sorta purposeless and should be
dispensed with.
NANCY ICKLER: Well, I think you could, except that if you got little kids out there at
all, you wouldn't leave them for a second without a fence. You probably wouldn't leave
them for a. second anyway; but, traffic on Twyckenham is really bad. I think that the yard
is much less usable without a fence.
JOHN OXIAN: Are you going to putthat fence inside the bush or outside the bush?
NANCY ICKLER: Inside the bush.
JOHN OXIAN: Then I would recommend that you put a chain link fence four foot high.
JOANN SPORLEDER: That's a substantial size fence.
JOHN OXIAN: No, a four foot high chain link fence is not that high.
17
