MARTHA CHOITZ: If you can waitwe can work it out this evening. If you can't we
will get you by phone and try our best to be there tomorrow. But, it would be a lot easier
than the three of us trying to do it now. If you could wait and talk to us later?
JOHN OXIAN: Next make a motion to send someone.
KAREN HAMMON NASH: Before anything incurs. This is an in -hind renovation.
Staff recommends approval; unless, the Standards and Maintenance Committee wishes to
discuss it with the previous matter.
JOANN SPORLEDER: I suggest we approve item number five in this application.
JOHN OXIAN: Who seconds it? - .
MARTHA CHOITZ: I second the motion.
JOHN OXIAN: Martha seconds the motion. Those in favor say aye. Those against say
nay. Motion carries unanimously.
JOHN OXIAN: Ok, number six.
KAREN HAMMON NASH: Moving the existing hedge back from the comer of the
yard and driveway, and replace the existing wire fence with a similar style. The third
drawing on the page; rather dark, but shows the area to the left of the garage as you look-
at
ookat it that hedge would simply be moved back and would be curved instead of being done
at a right angle. The existing fence replaced with they say an almost invisible wire fence
behind the hedge.
JOANN SPORLEDER: Why does the wire fence need to be replaced'?
KAREN HAMMOND-NASH: In order to stop small children from running out into the
street and to reinforce the hedge.
NANCY ICKLER: The hedge gets weighed down by the snow in the winter time.
JOHN OXIAN: What kind of wire fence is that? Is it the old type of wire fence or chain
link fence?
NANCY ICKLER: It's the old type of wire fence that sits back.
KAREN HAMMON NASH: But, very historically accurate.
NANCY ICKLER: But, you don't notice ittoo much.
JOHN OXIAN: No, I didn't notice it you can tell that.
15
