proposes to install new vinyl siding over the top of the existing asphalt siding, which was <br />placed on top of the original wtwd The asphalt is most seriously deteriorated There is <br />some existing vinyl, the artificial stone previously mentioned, and possibly also some <br />aluminon. <br />GERALD UJDAK: Is the Petitioner here? <br />KAREN HAMMOND NASH: He is not. He called me this afternoon to say that he had <br />been detained out of town and would not be able to be here. <br />GERALD UJDAK: All right, Tom, we can then proceed without him, correct? <br />THOMAS BODNAR: Oh yes. <br />JOHN OXIAN: I still go back to my own original proposal that the artificial stone be <br />removed. Unless he goes back to the original wood siding, the vinyl siding should be <br />exactly the same width as the original wood siding, and should be put over the artificial <br />or asbestos or whatever you want to call it siding. <br />KAREN HAMMOND NASH: That recommendation that the siding on the entire house <br />match the siding on the original front, was communicated to Mr. Shafer and he <br />understands and communicated his agreement <br />JOHN OXIAN: Somebody wants to second my ---- <br />MA I HA CHOl l Z: i am not sure 1 understood the motion, frankly. <br />GERALD UJDAK: State the motion again, please. <br />JOHN OXIAN: I want the artificial stone siding removers. <br />MARTHA CHOITZ: Which is where actually? <br />JOHN OXIAN: In front of the house. <br />KAREN HAMMOND NASH: The house originally had a front porch, and when the <br />porch was removed., the siding was put on the front walls that had been adjacent to the <br />original 1860 porch. <br />GERALD UJDAK: Oh, I see, look, Joann, there is a small, small area on the first floor. <br />JOHN OXIAN: I want that remo-,ted, unless the gentleman goes back to the original <br />wood siding, thari I want him to cover the rest of the asphalt siding with the same width <br />as the original wood siding. <br />MARTHA CHOITZ: And do we know what that is? <br />Z <br />
