JOSEPH COUNTY <br />HISTORIC PRESERVATION AWARDS <br />The Historic Preservation Commission has inherited the enjoyable <br />task of bestowing Historic Preservation Awards upon selected <br />properties from the former Southhold Restoration Group. <br />Between now and July 4, 2002 the Historic Preservation <br />Commission will be accepting nominations for awards in three <br />categories: Preservation, Restoration and Adaptive Re -Use. <br />Nominations must be made in writing (using the appropriate form <br />and any necessary attachments) and will be passed on to the <br />awards selection committee for consideration. The committee will <br />narrow the nominations to two per category and will submit -a <br />- - ---- ---- ---- <br />findings to the HPC for final selection. <br />The winners will be announced August 19, 2002 and plaques will <br />be awarded during a press conference to be held no later then <br />September 20, 2002. <br />Historic Preservation Commission <br />Office Address: 125 S.
