So, <br />when you're finished writing <br />your newsletter, convert it to a <br />Web site and post it. <br />STUDEBAKER NATIONAL CONVENTION <br />The Studebaker Drivers <br />Club will be holding its <br />38th Annual Meet in South <br />Bend June 23-29, 2002. <br />Thousands of Studebakers <br />will be coming home to <br />celebrate the companys <br />150th anniversary. <br />The Studebaker Drivers <br />Club was formed in 1962 <br />when the Studebaker Cor- <br />poration gave its permis- <br />sion to the clubs founder, <br />Harry Barnes, to form the <br />organization. From its <br />small but loyal beginning <br />the club has grown into an <br />international organization <br />with over 15, 000 mem- <br />bers world wide. <br />The National Convention <br />will host numerous events, <br />starting with an opening <br />reception on Monday <br />which will be followed by <br />through out the week with <br />various tours, an auction, <br />1931 Studebaker Promotional Presidents <br />Four Season Roadster & several Stude- <br />baker employees. <br />style show, awards banquet, <br />car show, drag races and a <br />tour of the Studebaker Prov- <br />ing Grounds. <br />For more information re- <br />garding events and registra- <br />tion go to the official web <br />site at <br />www.southbend2002.com. <br />The Historic Preservation <br />Commission has published <br />a Studebaker Tour Guide <br />Booklet for local sites. <br />These booklets are on sale <br />through the Studebaker Na- <br />tional Museum and the His- <br />toric Preservation Commis- <br />sion office for $$$$. <br />
