MARY JANE CHASE: I move to accept the treasurer's report as submitted by Mr.
Weiner.

RICHARD HELMUS: I second the motion.

After due consideration, the following action was taken:

Upon a motion by Mary Jane Chase, being seconded by Richard Helmus
and carried unanimously the treasurers report was accepted as presented.

C. Correspondence

None.

D. Committee Reports
1. Historic Districts

JOHN OXIAN: Are you going to start working on the Kessler Place Proposed
Local Historic District this spring?

MARTHA CHOITZ: I have every intention of initiating the correct procedures
and notices once the weather improves. We are still working with the Dismas people;
HLFI looked the house over thoroughly and made a report. It sounds very encouraging.

JOHN OXIAN: I have been working on a few other houses on this same block with
Code Enforcement to either get the owners to respond or to obtain receiverships.

2. Local Landmarks 1" Reading

JOHN OXIAN: There are eight proposed local landmarks up for first reading, they
are; 1031 E. Jefferson/ 123 N. Eddy, 1003 E. Washington, 52400 Portage Road, 1534 W.
Sample and 3302 W. Western.

On another topic I was before the Common Council regarding Portage Manor
again. I asked that the ordinance be withdrawn because of the situation with the
Common Council wanting one thing and Portage Manor wanting another. I believe that a
compromise can be obtained.

FRED STUMP: At this point in Januarys meeting we were allowed to discuss
Nuner School, wouldn't we be afforded the same opportunity now for Washington
School and Harrison School?

RHONDA SAUNDERS: I have placed this issue under New Business for discussion.

3. Standards and Maintenance
a. 635 LWE
R
