6/20/01- Letter to Mr. Pocza again notifying of failure to comply and giving
him until July 20, 2001 to respond.
7/26/01- Letter to Mr. Pocza acknowledging the replacement of the new
columns and extending the deadline to complete all work to
August 17, 2001.
8/6/01- New contractor of 129 Franklin, Bret Stanton, telephoned to
discuss the railings.
8/7/01- Bret Stanton telephoned. He stated that the rails would be in place
with in the next two weeks and that they would very closely
resemble originals.
It is now December 12, 2001 and only two small sections of the rails have been installed.
As you can see, we have given the owner and property manager over a year to comply
with HPC mandates. As you can further see by the photographs, the house has continued
to deteriorate with little or no maintenance visible. Areas of concern are the holes in the
siding above the side porch and the complete deterioration of the front stoop. This matter
has gone on long enough and is to a point where the staff can do no more. The Staff
requests that HPC instruct the City Legal Department, specifically, Tom Bodnar, to seek
the appropriate actions.
