440 6. OLD BUSINESS
441
442 JOHN OXIAN: Nothing new to report.
443
444 7. NEW BUSINESS
445
446 A. Re -rate of properties
447
448 JOHN OXIAN: The re- rating of the properties should be tabled until next month to
449 allow commission members time to go out and look at the properties.
450
451 JOANN SPORLEDER: What is the current rating of the railroad_ bridge?
452
453 RHONDA SAUNDERS: The bridge is currently not rated.
454
455 JOANN SPORLEDER: Most of the existing ratings were down by qualified
456 professionals during the survey. Occasionally we have re -rated properties because
457 something drastic has happened to them. Have these properties been altered in such a
458 way that they need to be re- rated?
459
460 RHONDA SAUNDERS: Two of the properties have been restored and the bridge
461 was simply over looked by the professionals surveying the city.
462
463
464
465 8. HEARING OF VISITORS
466
467 INGE GLADIEUX: My name is Inge Gladieux and I live at 802 Arch Street in
468 the Edgewater Place Local Historic District. I am here today to discuss the problem the
469 neighborhood is having with those homeowners on Edgewater who do not hold title to
470 the river front property but are nonetheless putting up no trespassing signs and chains. A
471 particular problem owner is on the corner of Bronson and Edgewater. I as well as other
472 neighbors like to go down to the river to watch the salmon, but lately people from across
473 the street have been coming over yelling at people for trespassing. I do not know whom
474 to contact regarding this issue. I have called the mayors liaison for neighborhood
475 disputes who told me I should call Code Enforcement because they could force the
476 people to take down the signs. I have contacted Mr. Talley and John Voorde, both
477 concur that the properties east of Arch do not own the river property. I don't know whom
478 to call to remedy the situation.
479
480 CHERYL GREENE: You might want to contact the Parks Department regarding
481 getting the signs removed. I would be happy to research the issue further and find the
482 department that needs to be contacted.
483
484 JOHN OXIAN:' Three people do own the river property, however, no one else does.
485
11
