2. Commission Member Needed for IUSB Fest <br />Mrs. Saunders requested that a member of the Commission assist her in running the <br />Commission's booth at the IUSB Volunteer Expo on September 25th. <br />V. New Business <br />1. Permission required for Director to attend two conferences. <br />Mrs. Choitz moved to allow the Director to travel to Indianapolis from September 21 st to the <br />22nd and to travel to Warsaw for the Cornelius O'Brien Conference from September 23 to the <br />26th. Mrs. Hostetler seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. <br />VI. Hearing of Visitors <br />Mr. Sporleder stated his concern for the need to continue the sidewalks at Leeper Park under the <br />Michigan Street Bridge as well as his concern for INDOT's plans to replace the Michigan Street <br />Bridge. Mr. Talley stated that a meeting is being set up with all concerned parties regarding <br />INDOT's plans for the bridge. Mr. Sporleder introduced a report he wrote to the Commission, <br />on Building Cities of Green. <br />VII. Announcements and Miscellaneous Matters <br />None. <br />III. Adjournment <br />Mrs. Hostetler moved to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Oxian seconded the motion.
