Davey purchased lot 29 of the Hammond and Whitcomb Addition on June 7, <br />1905 from Seth Hammond. Mr. Davey, an attorney, built this house the same year. He resided <br />here until 1913 when the house was sold to Frederick and Alice Draper. Mr. Draper was the <br />vice president of Conservative Life Insurance Company. Mr. & Mrs. Draper lived in this house <br />until 1921 when they sold it to Fred & Allie Chilcote. Mr. Chilcote was employed as an agent <br />for the New York Life Insurance Company. He and his wife resided there until there deaths at <br />which time the house was inherited by their daughter, Elizabeth Chilcote. Ms. Chilcote <br />continued to reside at this address until the property was sold to Stephen Borgman in 1991. Mr. <br />Borgman owned the house until 1998 when he sold it to the current owner, Jason Little. <br />
