He also noted that Glory -June Greiff has requested that the office staff perform some of the <br />research for the National Register Nomination of the two breweries, which she is getting paid to <br />do. Mr. Talley stated that Ms. Greiff needs to be informed that the Historic Preservation Staff is <br />not being paid to do her work for her. <br />D. Committee Reports <br />1. Standards and Maintenance <br />Mr. Fine stated that a meeting has been set for Wednesday, April 21 st at 3:30pm with Jeff <br />Berndt to discuss 617 LaSalle Street. <br />E. Staff Reports <br />1. CofA Staff Approvals - see attachment <br />2. Legal <br />Mrs. DeRose reported that the Interim Protection Ordinance was approved by the City Council, <br />along with the attached procedures. Mr. Talley noted that on Wednesday, April 21 st, the same <br />ordinance would be before Area Plan in an effort to get the same ordinance passed by the <br />County Council. He further noted that the Westerly Group would be in the office on Friday, <br />April 23rd, to give an update on the County Survey. <br />3. Miscellaneous Activities & Grants <br />None <br />VI. Old Business <br />None. <br />V. New Business <br />1. First Reading Proposed Local Landmarks <br />Mr. Oxian stated that the owner of 1240 W. Thomas was notified and is for the designation of <br />his property, as is the owner of 1253 Diamond and 14600 Adams Road. He further stated that <br />there has been no response from the owner of 614 North Sherman and that 120 W. LaSalle <br />would be tabled. <br />2. Upgrade rating of 123 W. North Shore Drive <br />Mr. Talley reported that the request for rerating the property came from the property owner. <br />Mr. Oxian stated that the upgrade request should be postponed until as well as the upgrade <br />request for Angela Street Bridge, until next month when photographs of the properties in <br />question are available. <br />4 <br />
