B. ALLEY ELEVATIONS <br />1. Masonry (Brick) <br />Existing masonry walls will be pointed with mortar to match ma, color, texture, <br />strength and profile of original. Rebuilding of some Palais Royale parapets will be required <br />2. Steel Windows <br />Some existing windows will be restored in place. Some existing windows will be <br />removed and their opening sealed to provide protected exits. Missing windows in openings will not <br />be replaced. Openings will be sealed with bricks to match exiting. Bricks will be set back 4" to <br />provide a blind window thus leaving trace of original design. <br />3. . Demolition <br />Existing (original) stagehouse will be removed to allow for new stagehouse <br />construction. ; <br />4. Theatre Exit Doors <br />Existing (original) exit doors will be replaced with new acoustic doors to meet <br />sound isolation criteria. <br />5. Palms Royale Service Doors <br />Existing (original) metal service doors which are in poor condition will be replaced with new metal <br />service doors at new locations. Existing openings will be sealed with bricks to match existing. Brick <br />will be set back 4" to provide a blind window thus leaving trace of original design. <br />6. Fire Escape <br />S <br />4 Existing (original) fire escape on north elevation of theatre will be restored. <br />Existing (original) fire escape in alley between Palais Royale and Theatre will be removed to allow <br />for construction of a new protected fire exit. <br />� C. ROOF <br />s <br />1. Roofing <br />New roofing will match existing in color on all structures. t; <br />2.
