Not Recommended <br />Original porch details should not be replaced with materials representing an <br />earner period or style from the original. <br />Rc CM"� iEMATION <br />The portion of the house under consideration was originally constructed as an <br />open or screened porch as part of the original design.- -it has at some time <br />been enclosed in a manner which was not ' consistent with the open sensibility <br />.which one infers was orig intended. The applicant propose to remove the <br />infili wall panels from the previous remodeling and replace them with ranks vC <br />casement windows over a sill wall. Although riot a restoration of the original <br />design, Staff finds this provosal consistent with the requirements for porch <br />enclosure found in the guidelines. The proposed exterior finish of half— timber <br />falsework with stuccoed panels and casement windows is i- ompatible with the <br />architectural character of the house.
