Liaison Committee Elections <br />Mr. Duvall reported that the new liaison committee procedures -book was-mailed <br />out a month ago to all existing liaison committee members and to all of the <br />people who, had attended the Access meetings. He further stated <br />letters have been prepared with ballots, but, they have not been sent out. <br />Mr: Duvall noted that he has received calls from East Wayne Street District to <br />hold off on having - an election because they have .their own peculiar election <br />process and need time to decide what to do with their existing committee. <br />V. Old Business <br />None <br />VI. New Busines.s <br />Mr. Oxian noted the request for an amendment of a designated landmark at <br />166401 Walnut Road. Mr. Duvall described the house and location noting that <br />there were approximately 20 acres originally associated with the house. Since <br />its designation the iproperty has been split and sold. He noted that the <br />current owners of the vacant 16.8 acres want to build a house on the land. <br />Mr. Duvall stated that he had`told the -owner that they could. either request <br />the property be removed from landmark- or apply- for a 'Certificate of <br />Appropriateness to build a house there. He notes that do to the short time <br />frame the owner was looking at it is probable that he will submit an• <br />application on top of his request for removal so that he can - go - ahead on <br />schedule with the construction. Mrs. Choitz expressed some concern over the <br />possibility -of the owner building more than one house on the lot if the " <br />designation were removed. Mr. Oxian stated that the removal of.a section of a <br />designated landmark should not be permitted, because, it would; set a 'bad <br />precedent. Mr. Oxian sent the request to the Landmarks,Committee. - <br />VII. Hearing of Visitors <br />None <br />- VIII. -- Announcements & Miscellaneous- Matters <br />None <br />IX.
