• V. Old Business <br />Mr. Oxian stated that he wants the Staff to put together the enabling <br />ordinance and all its amendments and have them sent to all the, Commission <br />members. <br />Mr. Oxian moved to have the attorney take legal action against the owners of <br />11.7 West North Shore Drive, the tree service company and the <br />contractor for destruction of a tree in the tree lawn with out permits. Mrs. <br />Choitz mentioned that the neighbor of 117 W. North Shore Drive, Mr. Kline, <br />called her Saturday morning to tell her that there were people out front <br />cutting down a hundred year old tree in the tree lawn with out a permit. She <br />further stated that since it was a Saturday morning that no one was around to <br />stop it. Mrs. Choitz seconded the motion. Mr. Talley asked if it was part of <br />the cities sidewalk replacement project. Mr. Duvall stated that it was not on <br />the list for the Good Neighbors Program. Mr. Talley stated that the <br />Commission should send them a letter requiring them to replace the tree. The <br />motion passed unanimously. Mr. Oxian stated that Mrs. Saunders should go.out <br />tomorrow and take pictures of the area. <br />VI. New Business <br />None <br />VII. Hearing of Visitors <br />Mr. Sporleder, as president of Michiana Water Shed, shared his'summary report <br />from the Urban Forest Conference in Atlanta. He also stated that Blake <br />• Gardens was still on the table at Department of Natural Resource and the Army <br />Corp of Engineers. <br />VIII. Adjournment <br />Mr. Oxian adjourned the meeting at,10:20p.m. <br />• <br />
