4 1 <br />4. Blake Gardens <br />Mr. Talley inquired about the status of Blake Gardens. Mr. Duvall replied <br />that he understood that a permit had been filed with the Army Corps of <br />Engineers but that no hearing had yet been scheduled. Ken Fedder had written <br />indicating that the Owners had agreed to use the HPC's proposed wording on the, <br />plaque. <br />It was also mentioned that 828 E. Jefferson Street which had been engulfed by <br />Weiss homes had been made available for sale. An individual plans to purchase <br />the house and move it to a vacant lot across St. Louis Street from Howard <br />Park. <br />V. Old Business <br />No old business was considered. <br />VI. New Business <br />Mr. Talley inquired- about 1003 Riverside Drive where he had observed <br />landscaping work without the necessary COA. He mentioned that Cornerstone <br />Realty is selling the home. <br />He also asked whether- the alteration of manholes in Leeper Park had been <br />confirmed. Mr. Duvall indicated that Carl Littrell had responded to his <br />inquiry that the existing manholes were simply being raised to correspond with <br />the pavement levels. <br />Mr. Talley also expressed concern about the eligibility of a liaison person <br />(Ann Bockenkamp) who has not applied for a C of A for a door installed. <br />The committee suggest sending her another C of A application. <br />VII. Hearing of Visitors <br />All visitors wishing to address the commission had been heard earlier. <br />VIII. Announcements & Miscellaneous Matters <br />Nothing to report <br />IX.
